This page outlines the accepted payment methods and the conditions applicable to each for purchases made through our platform. By completing a transaction, you agree to these terms.
1. Card Payments (Global and Local Networks)
We accept payments from major global card networks and specific regional card schemes. Your use of a card is subject to the terms and conditions set by your card issuer.
Global Card Networks:
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, JCB, Discover, and Diners Club. These cards provide a globally recognized payment method for immediate debit or credit against your account.
European Card Schemes:
We support transactions via Cartes Bancaires (France), Bancontact (Belgium), and Bancomat (Italy), ensuring secure local processing in those regions.
2. Digital & Mobile Wallet Payments
Digital wallets provide a fast, secure, and convenient checkout experience. These methods typically require pre-configuration on a mobile device.
Global Digital Wallet:
You may pay using Google Pay, which securely stores your underlying card or bank details and processes the payment using a tokenized, contactless method anywhere globally it is accepted.
European Mobile Payments:
We facilitate payments through popular local mobile systems:
- BLIK (Poland): A mobile system using a unique 6-digit code for instant bank transfers.
- Twint (Switzerland): A widely used Swiss mobile payment and loyalty app.
- Satispay (Italy, France, Germany): A mobile payment service that links directly to your bank account.
- MB WAY (Portugal): A mobile wallet for instant payments and transfers across Portugal.
- Payconiq (Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherlands): A mobile payment app used for in-store and online payments in the Benelux region.
3. Bank Transfer & Account-to-Account (A2A) Payments
For customers who prefer to pay directly from their bank account, we support a variety of instant and secure bank-based methods.
European Bank Transfers:
We facilitate direct, real-time bank payments in several European markets:
- iDEAL (Netherlands)
- Giropay (Germany)
- eps-Überweisung (Austria)
- Przelewy24 (Poland)
- KBC/CBC and Belfius (Bank-specific payments in Belgium)
Pan-European/Global Transfers:
- SEPA Bank Transfer: Allows for standard Euro transfers across the entire SEPA zone (Eurozone and associated countries).
- Trustly: A direct bank e-payment method that facilitates instant A2A transfers in Europe, North America, and Australia.
- Multibanco (Portugal): Payments are completed using a reference generated at checkout, settled either via ATM or online banking.
4. Installment & Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) Options
We offer flexible financing options in specific regions, allowing you to pay over time while receiving your goods immediately.
- Alma (France): Offers instant payment in 2, 3, or 4 installments.
- Riverty (PAY. version): Provides flexible payment options, including paying after delivery (common in the Netherlands and other European markets).
5. Billing Disputes & Chargebacks
If you believe there’s a billing error, contact us first at hello@lecouturestore.com. We’ll investigate and correct any mistake or issue a refund where due. If you initiate a chargeback without contacting us, we’ll respond to the card network with documentation.
6. Pre-orders, Backorders & Price Errors
Estimated ship dates for pre-orders/backorders are guidance only. We reserve the right to cancel orders for obvious pricing errors or to correct such errors prior to dispatch, in line with our Terms of Service.
7. Taxes & Duties
- Domestic Taxes: Domestic taxes (where applicable) are calculated at checkout based on the delivery address.
- International Orders: Unless stated otherwise, shipments are DAP (Delivered At Place)—import duties, taxes, and fees may be collected by local customs and are your responsibility. If we offer DDP (Duties Prepaid) for a destination, this will be clearly shown at checkout.
- EU VAT / B2B: Where available, you may provide a valid VAT number at checkout for proper tax handling.
