Outfit Designer Terms of Use & Disclosures
Effective Date: August 24, 2026
These Outfit Designer Terms of Use & Disclosures apply to your use of the Le Couture Store Outfit Designer (the “Outfit Designer”), an optional interactive styling tool available on this website. This page contains two parts: a plain-language explanation of how the Outfit Designer works and the formal terms that govern use of the feature.
Part I — About the Outfit Designer
What is the Outfit Designer?
The Outfit Designer helps you coordinate compatible Le Couture Store products into a complete look. You can choose a character, open different styling layers, select exact product variants, review the resulting look, save a preview image, create a shareable link, or add the selected variants to your cart.
The Outfit Designer is a planning and visualization tool. It is not a body scanner, fit predictor, sizing system, tailoring service, or guarantee of how a garment will look or fit when worn.
How does it work?
The Designer is organized into styling layers such as Top / Midlayer, Bottoms, Dress / One-Piece, Outerwear, Shoes, Socks, Belt, Neckwear, and Headwear. Products shown in a layer are selected from store products configured as compatible with that layer. Where a product has multiple variants, you choose the exact available color, size, or other relevant option before applying it.
Some layers conflict by design. For example, applying a Dress / One-Piece may replace an existing Top and Bottoms combination, and applying a Top or Bottoms may replace an existing Dress / One-Piece.
What are the pixelated garments?
The clothing shown on the character uses standardized pixel-based shapes for the applicable styling layer together with simplified color information. The pixel shapes are not miniature copies of the actual garments. They are a consistent visual system intended to help you compare layering, color balance, and the overall structure of a look.
What does not appear exactly in the preview?
The character and pixel-based garments do not reproduce exact garment fit, body measurements, proportions, drape, texture, fabric behavior, construction details, print or embroidery placement, artwork scale, trim details, transparency, reflectivity, or exact real-world color. A device screen can also display colors differently from the physical product.
Always review the product page, product images, description, materials, size information, variant selection, care information, price, availability, and other product-specific details before purchasing.
How are products selected?
The Outfit Designer uses store product data and predefined styling-layer rules. Character selection may also be used to filter products or variants using store data such as Shopify Target gender. A character or visual skin-tone choice is part of the interface and is not intended to define your identity, race, ethnicity, body type, measurements, or other personal characteristics.
Eligible product pages may include an “Open product in Outfit Designer” action. When used, the Designer attempts to open the correct styling layer and apply the selected product variant if it remains available and compatible.
What happens when I save or share?
Save image. The Designer can render a PNG of the current character and applied outfit. The image is a styling reference, not a photograph or an exact representation of the physical products as worn.
Copy link / Share. A persistent branded share link can store a compact representation of the look so it can be reconstructed later. The shared-look data may include a character code, visual skin-tone code, active styling layer, and product and variant identifiers. A generated Outfit Designer preview image may also be transmitted and stored to support the shared link or link preview.
Anyone who receives or otherwise obtains a valid shared link may be able to open the associated look. Do not use shared-look links as confidential or private storage. Product availability, price, or product configuration can change after the link is created.
What happens when I add a look to the cart?
The Designer adds the exact Shopify variants currently selected in the look. Separate Outfit Designer looks use internal grouping information so that updating one current look does not intentionally replace another Outfit Designer look already in the cart.
Because separate looks remain distinct, the same Shopify product or variant may appear as separate cart lines instead of being combined into a single line with a higher quantity. Always review the cart before checkout.
How do I start over?
Start another look clears the current Outfit Designer selections and returns you to character selection. Products already added to the Shopify cart remain in the cart. The current in-browser design state is separate from previously completed cart groups and from persistent shared links that have already been created.
What is saved in my browser session?
For refresh recovery and continuity, the Outfit Designer uses browser session storage for the current design. This may include the terms-acceptance state, character type, visual skin-tone selection, active styling layer, internal look identifier, and the product and variant identifiers currently applied. Session information may disappear when the browser session ends, browser data is cleared, storage is blocked, or the Site or browser environment changes.
Where analytics processing is allowed by your applicable privacy choices, limited Outfit Designer interaction data may also be processed through Shopify analytics. More information is provided in our Privacy Policy.
What does the complete-look reward mean?
The Designer may show progress toward a complete-look threshold and may display a promotional percentage or promo code when the threshold is reached. This is an informational shopping aid. The promotion is not guaranteed until the applicable code or discount is valid and the order satisfies the current eligibility requirements at checkout.

Part II — Outfit Designer Terms of Use
1. Acceptance, Eligibility, and Limited Right to Use
By checking the Outfit Designer acceptance box and using the Outfit Designer, you agree to these Outfit Designer Terms of Use & Disclosures, our Privacy Policy, and the website Terms of Service.
The eligibility requirements in our Terms of Service also apply to the Outfit Designer. Users under 18 may use the Site only as permitted by those Terms and applicable law.
Subject to these terms, Le Couture Store grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Outfit Designer for its intended personal styling and shopping functions. No ownership interest in the Outfit Designer, Site content, software, branding, product imagery, or other protected materials is transferred to you.
2. Purpose — Not a Fit, Sizing, or Measurement System
The Outfit Designer is intended for styling, color coordination, layering, and general outfit planning. It does not provide body measurement, tailoring, fit prediction, size recommendation guarantees, or an exact virtual try-on.
Product pages, product images, descriptions, size information, variant selections, care information, cart information, and checkout information control over any simplified representation shown in the Outfit Designer.
3. Characters and Visual Representation
Character selections are visual references used by the Outfit Designer and may also be used to filter products or variants according to store data such as Shopify Target gender. Character and visual skin-tone choices are not intended to identify you, determine your race or ethnicity, infer sensitive characteristics, or represent your exact body type or measurements.
You acknowledge that the character, standardized pixel garments, and generated preview image are simplified representations and may differ materially from the physical appearance of products as worn.
4. Product, Variant, Price, and Availability Information
The Outfit Designer uses store product and variant information, which may include product identifiers, selected options, price, availability, product images, and other catalog data. This information can change at any time.
A product or variant that appears in an in-progress, saved, or shared look may later become unavailable, change in price, be modified, or be discontinued. The current product page, cart, and checkout information applies to a purchase.
5. Layer Rules and Product-Page Imports
The Outfit Designer uses predefined layer rules. Applying one product may remove another product where the applicable layers are mutually exclusive.
Eligible product pages may pass a product and variant selection to the Outfit Designer. The Designer validates the relevant styling layer, product, variant, availability, and compatibility before automatic application where possible. We do not guarantee that every product-page import will remain valid if catalog information changes.
You are responsible for reviewing the final Your Look selection before adding products to the cart.
6. Browser-Session Storage and Analytics
The Outfit Designer may use browser session storage to retain the current design and terms-acceptance state during the browser session. Session recovery is provided for convenience and is not guaranteed.
Where analytics processing is permitted by the privacy choices applicable to your browser, the Outfit Designer may publish limited interaction events through Shopify analytics. For more information about the data involved, purposes, providers, and retention, review the Privacy Policy.
7. Saved Outfit Designer Images
The Outfit Designer can generate a PNG image of the current styling preview. You may save such an image for ordinary personal reference and noncommercial sharing, subject to applicable intellectual-property rights, these terms, and the website Terms of Service.
A saved image is a simplified visual reference and does not constitute a product photograph, fit representation, warranty, product specification, or guarantee concerning the final appearance of any product.
8. Persistent Shared-Look Links and Images
If you choose Copy link or Share, the Outfit Designer may transmit a compact representation of the design to infrastructure used to create a persistent branded shared-look link. The generated preview image may also be transmitted and stored when supported for link previews or sharing.
A valid shared link may be accessible to anyone who receives or otherwise obtains it. You are responsible for deciding whether to share the link and with whom. Do not use the feature for confidential, private, or sensitive information.
Shared links and associated images may stop working, be modified, become incomplete, or require adjustment if products, variants, catalog configuration, technical infrastructure, or the Outfit Designer change.
9. Cart Behavior and Multiple Looks
When you add a look to the cart, the Outfit Designer attempts to add the exact selected Shopify product variants. Internal line-item properties may be used to identify Outfit Designer items, styling layers, and separate look groups.
Separate Outfit Designer looks may therefore contain the same product or variant as separate cart lines. Updating the current look is intended to affect the matching Outfit Designer look group rather than other separately created looks, but you remain responsible for reviewing the cart before checkout.
Adding products to the cart does not place an order, reserve inventory, guarantee price or availability, or complete checkout.
10. Complete-Look Thresholds, Promotions, and Promo Codes
The Outfit Designer may display a complete-look threshold, promotional percentage, progress indicator, or promo code. Such displays are informational and do not by themselves create or guarantee a discount.
A promotion applies only if it is active and the order satisfies all applicable conditions at checkout. Eligibility, minimum purchase requirements, product exclusions, expiration, combinations with other discounts, and other promotion terms may change or apply separately.
11. Purchases and Store Policies
The Outfit Designer does not replace the Shopify cart or checkout process. Purchases made after using the Outfit Designer remain subject to the current product information and all applicable Le Couture Store policies, including the Shipping Policy, Refund and Return Policy, Payment Policy, Privacy Policy, and Terms of Service.
12. Acceptable Use and Prohibited Misuse
You may use the Outfit Designer only for its intended personal styling and shopping functions and other uses expressly permitted by us.
You may not use the Outfit Designer, shared-look service, generated images, links, software, or related infrastructure to:
- violate applicable law or the rights of another person;
- gain or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Outfit Designer, sharing service, Site, accounts, data, servers, or related systems;
- interfere with, disrupt, overload, probe, reverse engineer, bypass, scrape, automate against, manipulate, or abuse the feature or related infrastructure except where a restriction is prohibited by applicable law;
- introduce malicious code or use the feature for fraud, spam, impersonation, deceptive conduct, or security abuse;
- remove or misrepresent Le Couture Store branding, origin, or ownership information in a way that is deceptive or infringing; or
- use generated or shared content in a manner that infringes the intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, or other rights of Le Couture Store or another person.
13. Intellectual Property
The Outfit Designer interface, software, branding, original graphics, Site content, and related materials are owned by or licensed to Le Couture Store and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Product names, product images, designs, marks, and other materials may also be protected by rights belonging to Le Couture Store, manufacturers, suppliers, licensors, or other rights holders.
The limited permission to save and noncommercially share an Outfit Designer-generated preview image or shared-look link does not grant a general license to reproduce, distribute, modify, sell, commercially exploit, or create derivative works from protected Site or third-party materials.
14. Availability, Modification, Restriction, and Discontinuation
Le Couture Store may modify, improve, restrict, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Outfit Designer at any time, including supported products, styling layers, session-recovery methods, sharing functionality, generated-image functionality, cart integration, promotional features, or technical infrastructure.
We may restrict or terminate access to the Outfit Designer where we reasonably believe the feature is being misused, where necessary for security or maintenance, or as otherwise permitted by the website Terms of Service and applicable law.
Changes may affect previously stored browser sessions, saved images, shared links, or cart behavior. We may update these Outfit Designer Terms as the feature changes. The effective date at the top of this page identifies the current version.
15. No Guarantee of Continuous or Error-Free Operation
THE OUTFIT DESIGNER AND ITS PREVIEWS, GENERATED IMAGES, SESSION RECOVERY, SHARED LINKS, PRODUCT IMPORTS, COMPATIBILITY FILTERS, PROMOTIONAL INDICATORS, CART-SYNCHRONIZATION FUNCTIONS, AND RELATED SERVICES ARE PROVIDED AS OPTIONAL DIGITAL FEATURES ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS, SUBJECT TO THE DISCLAIMERS IN OUR TERMS OF SERVICE AND TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW.
We do not guarantee that the Outfit Designer will always be uninterrupted, error-free, current, secure, compatible with every browser or device, or capable of restoring every prior look. We also do not guarantee that a preview will accurately predict fit, appearance, or product suitability.
The Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability provisions in our Terms of Service apply to the Outfit Designer. Nothing in these Outfit Designer Terms excludes or limits any right, remedy, warranty, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
16. Relationship to Other Terms
These Outfit Designer Terms supplement the website Terms of Service and other applicable store policies. For matters specific to the operation and use of the Outfit Designer, these feature-specific terms apply in addition to the general Terms of Service.
If these Outfit Designer Terms conflict with the general Terms of Service on a matter that is specific to the Outfit Designer, these feature-specific terms control solely for that feature to the extent of the conflict. Product pages, cart information, checkout information, and transaction-specific store policies control purchase-related matters where they are more specific. Mandatory rights under applicable law are not waived.
17. Questions
For questions about the Outfit Designer, these disclosures, or the operation of the feature, please contact Le Couture Store using the contact methods published on this website.
